It’s the most wine-derful time of the year
We’ve finally made it to the end of the year! We know this year has been very different for all of us, but we’re coming out strong at the other end. Christmas is here next week and we couldn’t be more excited! It’s time to pop open some bubbly, wrap those last minute presents, get comfy, and let the good times roll.
A mistle-toast to the holiday season
This year, we know it’s been tough for a lot of people, but with the new household rules, visiting family just got easier. To make this holiday season extra special, why not create your own winter wonderland in your own backyard?
Don’t forget to look after the Christmas critters this winter and leave some bird feed out. You can scatter some crushed nuts on your outdoor table to attract robins too. It’s also important to water your plants, even during this cold season. So if you have a water butt, it’s time to take advantage of those minerals.
We might not be able to quite get the whole clan together, but we can still enjoy the time we’ve got with the loved ones we can see. Why not bond with your little ones and craft your very own Christmas wreath? There’s still time to get some winter plants in for the holiday, and there are so many easy tutorials for making wreaths available online. If you’re not feeling Christmassy yet this might be the thing that gets you in the spirit!
Let there be light
A lot of us are fortunate to have been able to work from home this year, which means that the lucky ones among us have managed to save some pennies. It also means that we’ve had to start appreciating our homes more, as we’ve been spending lots of time in them!
This extra time at home has inspired many people to use their saved pennies to improve their homes. As it’s Christmas, why not buy yourself and your family a gift with your extra cash? Investing in your home and garden is a great way to move into a new year where we still might be spending a lot of time at home! Skyline Design’s luxury rattan furniture is a great way to help bring the novelty back to spending time in your garden over the coming months.
It’s also likely that many of us will be doing socially distanced outdoor gift exchanges, so why not check out Skyline’s stunning outdoor lighting range? There’s a wide range of furniture to choose from, including decor lighting and even LED planters to really show off your plants. There’s even a festive LED ice holder to keep some of the bubbly chilled!
